Great photos. I check your site every few months for the "latest". So glad you survived the fire with just a little inconvenience. We were worried but Meg said all was well. Have a great Thanksgiving.

Remember me! I've enjoyed this site sooo much. I miss both of you guys. You look great and the kids ... the pictures say it all. I don't think I could possibly do them justice.
I hope all is well and, though I keep threatening to visit, I hope to be there soon.
Best,

Hay, Looks like Larkin is walking. Is she talking yet?
I see that you guys have tried indoor water sports too. I nearly had the same experience, but I think I stopped just one hammer swing sort of puncturing the pipe. I got a stud sensor out and found out why it was a little hard before I flooded the house.
Megan is doing fine. She sometimes hits her little brother, Jason. Jason is only 3 months old now and so he is busy sleeping, eating, and thinking about the day he can roll over.
Nice shots in the desert too.
Hope to hear from you guys again.

Hello Everyone,
We are proud to announce the arrival of a new family member.
On January 5, 2001 at 8:40 Friday morning, in San Diego
California, at SHARP's Mary Birch Baby Hospital, our
daughter, Rudyne Alexis Pearson gave birth to our first
grand-child. A baby girl. She weighs 7.10 pounds and she
is 19.5 inches long. She has a full head of hair and long
fingers with nails.
The proud father, Akeeya Tory Pearson and I were her
coaches. Her labor was quite long but Akeeya and I coached
her through it using the La Maze method.
Mother and daughter are well. Both are at home resting
comfortably. Breast feeding was difficult at first, but
now it is going ok. Don't be afraid to take the advice of
moms, grand-mothers, and girl friends.
We thank God for the many blessings He has bestowed on all
our families. We thank God for this new baby, Madisyn Alexis
Pearson. We pray that God will continue to bless this baby, her
the parents Alexis and Akeeya, the grand-parents,
grand-uncles, grand-aunts, nieces and nephews, cousins, all
other family members, and most of all you and yours.
Oh by the way, the things we learned in the class were
great but be prepared to improvise and follow the
instructions of the duty Nurse. Everyone is different.
Practice the breathing before hand. Each room has a strip
line paper recorder and digital readout. As the contractions
peak and ebb you can get visual feedback as to when a
contraction is coming on. I liked the strip line paper
recorder best because it gave me a good visual indication,
plus you can look back at the paper and see how strong and
the length of each contraction. As the contraction started
to build, Alexis and I poised ourselves to start breathing
and counting. Without seeing the recorder, Alexis would
signal when she had reached her threshold of pain. So
between her feedback and the recorder, I got very good at
coaching. Coaches pay attention to your spouse's facial and
body movement in addition to the recording devices. Most of
the time we did 3 sets of breathing, counting to 10 during
each set, per contraction. As I said before each Nurse may
ask you to vary the pattern. Just follow her advice and
you'll be ok.
Having gone through this birth with my daughter,
I can truly say that it is a miracle. I found myself crying
as this new life entered into this world. It is an experience
which will humble you. Again, Thank You God for this precious
most beautiful soul. She is my first grand-child. I promise
help Alexis and Akeeya nurture and care for her for the
remainder of my life.
We wish you Love, Peace, Health, and Happiness with your
new baby.

Hi Guys,
This past Sunday came and went. Did not feel right without
coming to our LaMaze class. This note is from Alexis' family
we had a nice holiday and are still looking for the baby to
drop soon. The class pictures are nice. Too bad you did not
capture everyone, but like you said, if they come to the
reunion then all will be well. Take care of the new mom to
come and here is wishing all expectant mother's and Dad's
a very Happy New Year.
